The winter
in Zillertal
When winter arrives in the Zillertal, a magnificent world of snow and ice, idyllic cross-country ski runs, romantic winter hiking trails and perfectly groomed pistes unfolds.
The Weberer holiday home in Stummerberg is located slightly above the valley at 800 metres above sea level. An ideal starting point for your active winter holiday.
Ski resorts
of superlatives
The nearest downhill run is not far away on the Stummerberg. Access to the Spieljoch family ski area is in Fügen, around 15 minutes by car from your holiday home. There, 21 kilometres of slopes with a pleasant level of difficulty and a wonderful valley run await your discovery. A little higher up is the Hochfügen-Hochzillertal ski area, which is accessed in the neighbouring village of Kaltenbach. It takes no more than 10 minutes by car or the free ski bus!
Tobogganing
in Zillertal
Tobogganing belongs to winter like nature belongs to the Zillertal. For great fun with the whole family, there are several places to go in the vicinity of our holiday home. The Hochfügen toboggan run with a 1.5 kilometre long piste, the Riedberg toboggan run and the Kupfernberg toboggan run are all within easy reach. Toboggans can be hired on site at most toboggan runs. If you want to enjoy a particularly long toboggan run, you should head for the Goglhof toboggan run with its 3.5 km long and floodlit piste!
Winter
hiking trails
Fantastic hiking trails, snow-covered forests and mountain ridges: the Zillertal shows its romantic side in the winter months! The best way to explore these surroundings is on the winter hiking trails, of which there are more than 50 kilometres in the Fügen-Kaltenbach holiday region. The offer also includes guided snowshoe hikes, which guarantee adventures off the beaten track.
